New Hampshire is home to many birds that can be seen
and heard during nesting, migrating, and
wintering times, from the sea shore to the mountain tops. Request a Custom ESCAPE to spend time in the wild with bald eagles,
common loons, ospreys, peregrine falcons, boreal forest birds, freshwater and seashore birds, hawk migrations, or other wildlife.
When and How?
In the bird world, there is something exciting going on at any point
during the year. We use various means to help you get a good view and
experience natural habitats of birds. Kayaking or canoeing is the choice for spring and
summer loon, duck, osprey, and eagle viewing--from a respectable
distance, of course. Hiking the hills and mountains in spring and fall
is best way to view the hundreds of hawks and other birds along their
migration paths. Boreal forests are home to spruce grouse, Canada
jay, and boreal chickadees, which may be found by hiking (snowshoeing in
winter). Many birds also winter in New Hampshire, such as loons,
eagles, and flocks of cedar waxwings. Occasionally a snowy owl or a
great gray owl will be spotted.
Besides our Bird Watching Tours, you may be also interested in
our custom Moose Tours,
Outdoor Photography Tours, which can be done during an
S.U.V. Tour, or along with one of our

Adventure Packages.
Step-on-guide services are also available
for bus, van, or motor coach tours.
