Bird Watching Tours
in New Hampshire

We offer guided interpretive and photo tours statewide all year. The activity and location depends on the season and interest in species.

New Hampshire is home to many birds that can be seen and heard during nesting, migrating, and wintering times, from the sea shore to the mountain tops. When and How?
In the bird world, there is something exciting going on at any point during the year. We use various means to help you get a good view and experience natural habitats of birds in New Hampshire, from the seacoast to the lakes, mountains, rivers, and forests.

Here's a list of our guided activity choices and peak times for bird spotting. Exact locations are up to your guide, within the regions of New Hampshire listed:

• Wetlands: Loon, osprey, eagle, kingfisher, heron, and other shorebirds.
  Statewide  (June-August)

• Raptor Migrations: Falcons, hawks, eagles, etc.

• Boreal Forest: Canada Jay, boreal chickadee, black backed woodpecker, and spruce grouse all year, thrushes, other songbirds, and wetlands species in warmer months, and occasional great gray owl in winter.
