What to Expect
Spending time with a seasoned guide will give you a great chance of experiencing the best of New Hampshire. Sightseeing Tours are geared for all ages. Kids, and kids-at-heart, have fun learning what makes New Hampshire special. We provide interpretive guide/driver with vehicle, stops at points of interest, lunch (or bring or buy your own), snowshoes and daypacks if needed. You should dress in layers for the weather of the day, and bring along your favorite snacks and water. Don’t forget your camera and binoculars if you have them. |

Our Vehicle
Most of the time, we provide tours in our Dodge Promaster which currently holds up to 4 participants and has a lift and tie-downs for an additional person in their own latchable wheelchair. The lift is also great for people using a walker or canes. Tour Prices Prices are based on the regional descriptions below and are subject to change due to customization of tours. Half-day is 2-3 hours and full-day is 5-8 hours. Click the Book Now button and find Half-Day and Full-Day options for Sightseeing Tours. Give us a call prior to booking to ensure date availability and discuss your interests and needs. Meal options: Bring your own food, or your guide can either provide a picnic lunch or drive you to a restaurant or deli along the way, to eat-in, or take-out. If you wish, bring spending money for souvenirs, tax-free shopping, and incidentals. Add-ons: A horse-drawn sleigh/wagon ride, pontoon boat tour, mountaintop access via van, gondola, wildlife center, and other seasonal attractions may be added to most tours for additional fees that day. Starting locations and times are flexible–we can pick you up at your lodging if you wish. If you need a place to stay, we’ll make some recommendations. Each area of New Hampshire is unique and there are many more seasonal happenings that may be exchanged (or added) into the itinerary. After booking a tour your guide will discuss with you any updates/opportunities to the itinerary. You may also book us for additional days in different regions of New Hampshire.

Great North Woods ~ AKA The Grand North
Starts near Gorham, N.H.
You’ll get a true sense of New Hampshire’s vast wilderness on this grand adventure as you ride through boreal forests along wild rivers where moose, loons, and bald eagles live. Find the headwaters of the Connecticut and Androscoggin Rivers the Northern Forest. With an economy based on forestry and recreation, mix with local residents in town or at the lake (if you want) and find out about their international roots and hear their hunting and fishing stories. Enjoy either a two-hour nature walk/hike/snowshoe, or more riding with several stops for short walks at natural places of interest…moose wallows, waterfalls (or frozen cascades), rivers, and remote beaver ponds. Western White Mountains
Starts near Lincoln, N.H.
You will find bigger mountains here in Franconia Notch with interesting glacial features and a recent history from forestry to skiing. Travel along the Connecticut River and see pristine farms, almost as it were 200 years ago. See covered bridges, and, depending on the season, a Yankee flea market, a local farm stand, a harvest of pumpkins, apples, or maple syrup. Stop by an old fashioned general store and get some smoked sausage or cheese or even some fudge. Eastern White Mountains
Starts near North Conway, N.H.
Home of the highest peak in the Northeastern U.S., you will ride into the notches for the best views and have a chance to see moose. We’ll stick to the back roads to avoid seasonal crowds and you’ll find many treasures on this tour, including covered bridges, historic train stations, a weather center, and an old-fashioned country store with New England-made products. Then enjoy either a two-hour nature walk/hike/snowshoe to a scenic vista, or more riding with stops for short walks to natural places of interest… waterfalls/ice flows, scenic vistas, and remote ponds. Lakes Region
Starts near Meredith, N.H.
Vacationers have been coming to the Lakes Region to spend summers here since the Industrial Revolution of America. Winter activities have also become popular on the lakes, such as ice fishing, ice sailing, and kite skiing. On your tour around the Lake Winnipesaukee and Squam Lakes area you will still see evidence of years past…lakeside towns with church steeples and old train depots, as well as old farmhouses with mountain views. Stop by a local museum or historical society. In summer visit a farm stand and an old country store. In winter visit an ice fishing community and a maple sugar house. Starts near Lebanon, N.H.
Travel through farm history as you pass lakes, streams, hills, and quaint country towns with village greens and covered bridges. Visit historical buildings, an apple orchard, a local farmers market, and an antique shop. Enjoy either a two-hour nature walk/hike/snowshoe (to a scenic vista or along a river on a rail trail), or more riding with stops for short walks to natural places of interest…a waterfall, and a lakeside with mountain views. Atlantic Seacoast Region
Starts near Portsmouth, N.H.
There is so much to see along New Hampshire’s 18 miles of seacoast plus Great Bay Estuary. Portsmouth is a historical port city that is alive with culture and activity. The area has also been used for military, farming, and industrial purposes. Walk around downtown and see its historic buildings, gardens, restaurants, and little shops–tax-free, of course. Have lunch at a local pub or seafood restaurant, and dessert at a nearby French pastry shop. Enjoy either a two-hour nature walk/hike/snowshoe to a scenic vista, or more riding with stops at natural places of interest…such as seacoast walks to tide pools and beaches on the Atlantic Ocean or discover Great Bay, an estuary that offers great bird watching in winter as well as during spring and fall migrations at low tide.
