  • Year-round options are tailored for all ages (families, couples, seniors) and abilities (leisure, vigorous, extra needs). We have a wheelchair accessible van with a lift, that people can also stand on, to get in. We also have access to recreation equipment to help get everyone into nature.   • With arrival on the first day in the morning, you will have 4 days fully guided day-trips (5-8 hours) with Outdoor ESCAPES New Hampshire. Activity choices for each location are listed below--your guide will discuss these options after registration. Lunch, recreation equipment rentals, instruction, and nature/history talks are included.  
  • Your Grand Escape also includes 4 nights lodging (bed and breakfast plan with dinners included) at one of New Hampshire's unique lodging establishments listed below--tell us which town you want when registering.
  • Plan ahead--we suggest making your request/reservation at least 60 days (and up to 16 months) in advance to ensure guide and room availability.

Day 1: 10AM Arrival, guided hike with survival tips and picnic lunch, scenic van tour to visit waterfalls and local farm stand or bakery, dinner at inn.

Learn the tools, skills, and knowledge to help you stay healthy and found while backpacking in remote forest areas. Safety, fun, & learning is what outdoor education is all about. Whitewater Paddler's Getaway for Fun

An instructional canoe or kayak clinic for beginners, or an exciting, yet leisurely, whitewater nature tour for the experienced.
An unforgettable experience in New Hampshire's Great North Woods for ages 10 and up, with no previous experience necessary. We provide tandem canoes or solo sit-on-top kayaks. Exact routes depend on interests and abilities, with choices of flatwater, quickwater, and water up to Class II.  Paddling, with instruction as necessary, starts between 8-10AM & ends by 2-4PM.
