Toddler Backpack Carrier
An adult backpack that carries children age 1 to 35 pounds, with pouches for some gear, food, and water.

Trekking Poles
Their use is personal preference--great for snowshoeing and for bad knees, not useful on rocky terrain and they erode soil paths.

Available when there is enough snow on hiking/walking trails, November through May.

Snow/Ice Spikes (not full crampons)
Used when trails are slippery, but not enough snow for snowshoes. Note: We only guide winter/spring hikes below treeline.

X-C Skis, Poles, Boots
For groomed or ungroomed trails.

Sit-on-Top Kayak, PFD, paddle (and thigh straps for whitewater)
These easy kayaks are versatile for all kinds of paddling. Safe and fun for beginners on ponds, lakes, and rapid rivers.
Longer kayaks and canoes are most efficient for long distance trips on lakes and in tidal water at the seacoast, whether
for a day or a week, and they hold more gear than the shorter kayaks that are great for day trips.

Bicycle (with Helmet)
Mountain Bikes: Fat tires and many gears for easy pedaling on paved or gravel mountain roads, designated paths, and single track trails.
Hybrid Bikes: Good for paved or gravel hilly roads.
Road Bikes: For pavement only.
Adult: $45 for first day; $35 for each additional day
Children: $35 for first day; $25 for each additional day
Toddler Trailer for 1-2 Kids, Ages 2-4: $45 for first day; $35 for each additional day
Fly Fishing Equipment
Complimentary on guided fly fishing trips for one or two participants
Orange Vests
During hunting season in some wilderness areas, we use hunter orange vests for safety, mainly in October and November.
